Ok it’s cold. Like properly, bitterly cold. I hate nothing more than being cold. So every day, under whatever outfit I choose to wear, I am layered up. TO. THE. MAX. I don’t leave home without tights under my jean and a thermal top under my t shirt. I’m obsessed with the thin polo necks from Uniqlo that you can layer under a knitted jumper. But the pieces that work the hardest, and I’m rarely without are gloves and a cashmere hat. Buy one of each now and you would have them forever. I hugely rate cashmere from & Other Stories, it is so reasonably priced for the quality.

Under & Over: I’m wearing pointelle thermal leggings that I’ve had for years. Shop HERE.

If you want to keep your core warm then stick with natural fabrics like wool and cashmere because these types of materials can trap body heat, insulate you body & regulate your temperature. Synthetics fabrics like fleece can do the same, but will cause you to sweat more. Another little snippet that may help – wearing multiple thin layers can keep you warmer than wearing 2 thick layer because the air gets trapped between each layer can help insulate. Heavier clothes trap less air.

Here are a few of the pieces that have technology inside the fabrics to keep you warm.

1.Body Sensor tights // 2. Pointelle thermal top // 3. Heat gen Thermal socks // 4. Red cashmere hat // 5. Cream wool socks // 6. Heat tech thin brown poloneck // 7. Heat tech thin cream poloneck // 8. Heatgen thermal top //9. Ribbed cashmere gloves // 10. Cashmere hat

Don’t get to snap up a pair of these for the man in your life – all the cool guys wear them under their jeans/suit trousers!
