SO MANY OCCASIONS, SO LITTLE OUTFITS

Out of nowhere all these lovely occasions have been sprung upon us, from weddings, to 40th birthday parties, to the odd bar mitzvah and family lunches. We thought it was time for a little occasion-wear refresh, but in the form of some easy to wear dresses, skirts & jumpsuits that don’t involve complicated undies, or uncomfortable shoes. The kind of outfits you can just throw on and feel good. The easiest way to elevate a simple dress is to add metallic jewels – statement earrings, chunky bangles and draped necklaces. There are no rules for jewels – mix your metals, combine chunky with delicate, layer lots together or keep it minimal.

We had a little try on session with loads of dresses, and these were out top 12 picks. They are all pretty reasonably priced, and a few of them can be worn for a variety of occasions, from a wedding (add heels, jewels and a lip) to work (throw on a blazer and loafers or boots), or to dinner on holiday (strappy sandals.)
