A fashion, beauty and lifestyle destination for people short on time.

Last week we hosted a make-up masterclass at the Bobbi Brown boutique in Covent Garden. We had a fabulous evening meeting some of you lovely mama’s, drinking prosecco and playing with make-up while the dads we’re on baby duty. Hannah Martin, Senior Pro Make-Up Artist for Bobbi Brown shared SO MANY tips and tricks with us – and we know that you don’t all live in London or were quick enough on the old email to nab a ticket (they sold out in 20 minutes, eek, so sorry!) that we filmed a little tutorial to share with you all…
In the tutorial below you’ll find the easiest three steps to looking awake. What we don’t cover is skin-prep. As we always say, cleansing your face is the most important starting point. You will never look glowy if you go to bed with a film of the days debris lying across your face. Always, always take off your make-up. We have done a post on cleansing before but if you would like us to cover cleansing again, let us know (email, DM or comment on Insta)
If you think that Gemma is looking particularly glowy, it’s because Hannah used this on her. I kid you not, we all gasped at how it transformed her skin and everyone had to buy it. We are both obsessed and are now smothering our skin in it pre-make-up on a daily basis. A little bit goes a long way – but you could also invest in thisif you prefer to try small sizes first before making an investment.
